Dr. Mehmet Oz will perform laparis cephalopelvic and pelvic cancer surgery for his gynecologists at New York City’s St. Luke’s Medical Center.
Dr. Oz will provide the surgery at his clinic on Tuesday.
Oz said the surgery is the first for him and the surgery will be free for all gynecological surgeons in the city.
“This is a great day for the gynecologic community,” he said in a statement.
“I’m thrilled to be able to bring my talented team to New York.
The surgery is free for anyone in the New York metropolitan area who has cancer or pelvic cancer, and for anyone who has ever been diagnosed with a pelvic cancer or cervical cancer, as well as anyone who is undergoing laparoscopy surgery for a cancerous lesion.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with the best gynecologically trained surgeons in this city, and to be a part of a great new era in gynecogenics in New York.”
Oz has previously performed laparis caephalic and pelvic cancers.
In November, he performed a laparoscope on cancer survivor and cancer activist Jill Stein.
